I'm back..been gone a bit..had a wonderful turkey day at me daughter's house it was nice to have her do all the cooking. Then I have been preparing for all the parties. Went to Thursday-Sat and yesterday I went with 6 members of my crochet/knit group to a really fun craft fair out in a wee equestrian town. What fun!
Wow this new google format for uploading pics is a little squirrly isn't it? I mean they are very hard to line up now... hmmmm
I made this Christmas card basket. I just love them and they are so easy, you just make a pattern of one octogon side and center on the portion of the card you want to show and then cut out 12 one for the inside and one for the outside. Then I used scrapbooking sheets for the bottom in a heavy red glitter for the inside and the silver for the bottom side. Then all you do is whip stitch with a darning needle and your favorite yarn. all the way around ....it is fun and so pretty... The elf slipper I made up for our slipper contest but only got one done, I just plum ran out of time! oh well...at least I had one to show... the gift is what I took to the ladies car club party...and I won the brautiful big red purse and scarf! I love them both...
Then I made the cute red hats necklace for a present for my red hats party and the pink eskimo slippers I won at my crochet/knitting party on Thursday night. It was quite a week, The gingermen I stuck on the goodie bags for the girls...
These cute stockings were given to my red hat friends and held the ornament hangers I made below...
