Someone once said -

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for the people who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living." Amen

Back from a Long RV Trip

WOW....10+ days in our RV...yes I am glad to be home, even though we had a wonderful time....I will post some of our highlights...

This is beautiful Bass Lake the lake is always warm and the entire shoreline allows access to the lake with trees for shade, it is perfect for boating and all water sports and about 10 miles form the gates of Yosemite. the nearest town is Oakhurst and Coarsegold, which is an old gold mining town. We visited there and walked around their western boths and this caught my eye with the license plates and all the old water cans lined on top, I especially liked the blue one. Then as we were leaving I looked up to see a huge spider dangling in the tree!!!! Oh my....naw...its fake so no worry....

The town was very themed for the area but boy was it hot there! I did manage to shop and get myself a really pretty tie-dyed skirt in yellows and greens with a dragon-fly design on it.. :)

The campground we stayed at had a huge bon-fire and live music that was very enjoyable...and as you can see when the sun goes down so does the warmth...burrrrr...

I did get some crocheting in of course...

Oakhurst had this fantastic statue of Liberty carved out of a log..it was really tall....isn't it amazing?

Then we left to go on to Lake Lopez..the drive was awesome...beautiful landscapes and lots of agriculture as it is the largest agriculture area in the world I am told... :)

Next post will be Lake Lopez!!!!

  1. Oh, this trip sounds wonderful! LOVE all the pots at this local "mercantile" shop! It looks like an old trading post back in the times of Lewis and Clark! The camp you stayed at sounds like fun too! Thanks for bringing us loyal fans along! (0; ~tina
