Someone once said -

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for the people who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living." Amen

Whats in a Bra???

hello we have been told that rain is on its way....

I have been having a time with my computer .. :( it crashed once again, it may be time to turn it in for a new one, but right now I have sent it off to be repaired...should have it back in a few days...

right now I am trying to figure out if I should purchase that "ah" bra that I have seen advertized on TV so much. It is suppose to be really good for comfort and support and it also looks good..hmmmmm it just seems like a regular sports bra to me???

Well I read up on the reviews and the consensus is that the bra may be comfortable to wear to bed, or under layers, but that it is not great for support for the "well-endowed" women. Reviewers also said that it ran a bit on the smaller size.

So I went and checked them out at Wal-Mart, and sure enough they are on the smaller size, so if you invest be aware. I also found them to not be enough support for me and I think it felt more like a sports bra rather than a regular bra.

I will stick with going and being fitted for a bra like at Nordstroms, they cost a bit more but it is well worth it to have the right fit...If you have never gone to be fitted, you are in for a treat, you will more than likely find that you have been buying the wrong size all along...do try it, any larger department store should have a fitting for bras, check it out ...

Just a little "bra" sense...

Try these "bra" tips before buying:

1. Use a soft tape measure to measure just under your breasts. Measure all the way around your body. Don't pull the tape measure too tight. Have it resting comfortably against your skin and even around your rib cage just below the breasts. Wear a thin bra for measuring.

2. Add 4 inches to the measurement in step 1 if you ended up with an even number or add 5 inches if you ended up with an odd number. This number will be the band size of the bra you need. For example, if you measured a chest size of 38 add 4 inches to that. Your bra band size would be 42.

3. Measure your body around the largest part of your breast. Make sure the tape measure is even around you and goes across the middle of your breasts.

4. Subtract the measurement from step 2 from the measurement in step 3. For example if your band measurement was 40 and your breast measurement was 42, your result would be 2 inches. Each inch is equal to 1 cup size for the bra. For example, 1 inch equals A cup, 2 inches equals B cup, 3 inches equals C cup and 4 inches equals a D cup. In this example, you would wear a bra size 40 B.

Happy Shopping!!!
