Someone once said -

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for the people who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living." Amen

Cabin Fun and Great Recipes

I love easy cooking and making Pasties whether it be for a dessert with fruit or pumpkin or for a dinner meal they can be easy and tasty and very filling....on my "DaBookLady's Recipe Blog "I have several recipes for these scrumptious little goodies!!!

We went to the cabin over Memorial Day weekend and Bob worked on the garage/shed and put on new doors...he did a terrific job! :)

The walkway we had put in last fall really looks great now that the grass has grown around it...
And Chloee had a ball there romping around and climbing on everything...
Foxy just laid around with her "ho hum" looks.... :)

What a Great Holiday!!!

I had a wonderful holiday and went up to our cabin in Big Bear for 5 days!!!! :) I played the "tourist" and took some surrounding photos... :)  One of my favorite colors is PINK...so I couldn't resist taking a pic of this PINK Corvette driving down BB Blvd...even my tulips were blooming. It was a beautiful weekend with tons of sunshine, fresh air, and lots of birds tweeting...I even went to the Elks Lodge craft fair and was able to get some beautiful glass beads.... :)

Up in the Snow at the Cabin

We went up to the cabin this weekend. It was cold...burrr in the low 30s and the water pipe burst and had to be fixed. There was not a lot of snow, but old Foxy had her sweater on to keep her warm....

See the smow out back and in the front drive way. And then the other mountain photos is how it looks to drive up there...beautiful..only 2 hours from us...
