I found these Twinkies that are chocolate and peanut butter.  

My hubby loves Reeses. Its like the same flavor but in cake form. 

my friend and I went to a Safari Masquerade party and we made up our costumes.  Since it was a Red Hat event we kept our colors true.  we got purple tee shirts and ironed on paw prints with Queen crowns and the words "Wildcats"  then made our masks with  red rhinestones and got purple tone leopard leggings and tails and cat ears and put red on our heads...

What a Great Holiday!!!

I had a wonderful holiday and went up to our cabin in Big Bear for 5 days!!!! :) I played the "tourist" and took some surrounding photos... :)  One of my favorite colors is PINK...so I couldn't resist taking a pic of this PINK Corvette driving down BB Blvd...even my tulips were blooming. It was a beautiful weekend with tons of sunshine, fresh air, and lots of birds tweeting...I even went to the Elks Lodge craft fair and was able to get some beautiful glass beads.... :)

 

My Garden is a Blooming!

This little gut I call "Chi Chi" he loves to pose for me and he is my backyard pet squirrel...and the other little one is in my front yard flowerbed, my daughter gave him to me...

This is called a hybrid geranium and I love its purple color....

I went around and took some snaps of my blooming garden...and WOW the colors were amazing...I love spring when everything just jumps up and sings and the insects and birds are chirping and buzzing away...so stroll with me through some of my flowers... This red and white is another hybrid geranium that my son got me in 2004 on Mother's Day when we went to the Queen Mary in their flowerbed he snipped off a branch and it has grown in my front yard ever since...the purple and white daiseys are in my front yard along with my succulent red bead plant and Gerber Daiseys.The orange ones are called Parrots Beak and they grow around my pond, sooooo pretty...and the pink ones in the flowerpot are impatients and hang from the front tree

The yellow daisys are out front, and the orangish blooms are around the pond and it is a water plant called, Orange Canna.

The white potted ones here are my sweet smelling Jasmine flowers....

So as you can see my yard is blooming all kinds of colors....

WOW...love flowers!!!

Oh I must not forget to add a little crochet...this is a picture of a crocheted hanger sachet that I made for my swap partner in the All Around the House bedroom swap for March...I love this pattern asn will make lots more for gifts, but I am changing it to baby hangers, the bigger ones are just too big!!

My Yarn Store Find and the Starburst Dish Cloth

I was visiting The Kidney Bean and she had some really pretty dishcloth designs on her blog that she got the star burst from My Tangled Threads off of Ravelry, her dishcloth is beautiful and the others she made are wonderful, be sure to hop over and take a look, they are fantastic, but the most amazing thing was the You Tube on the French Knitting Ski Story. You have to watch this video and remember that all the frames were knitted!!!

Sunday my local knit/crochet group went on a field trip and hit a couple yarn stores. I know I said no more yarn..... but I just couldn't resist. I actually bought 2 kits that I fell in love with. They are two bags, one is a shopping bag, and the other is a Hobo bag! As you can see the Hobo Bag I have already started. The colors were absolutely bright and what I called "smile" yarn. Yarn that makes you feel good... And then I got a couple of cute books to make the monkeys out of socks, and an older one on some unique projects. I also found a cute crochet top that I loved in one of th eold books and got some pretty teal Auntie cotton that will look great I think. What do you think?
