[step 1 supplies]
I have been working a lot on Halloween...one of my "fav" holidays...and this little "Graveyard Ghosts" decoration came out really cute.. :) I got the pattern over here... here are stages of my project...I couldn't find the right gloves until I went to the $1 store and there they were in the cosmetic department...who would of thought??? I used glitter glue to paint the bow ties and also acrylic florescent paint. The bats cut out of black foam was a little harder so I enlarged the pattern a wee bit and the base was a black ceramic dish from Michael's...worked out perfect with a little florescent paint.... [step 2 and 3 paint bottom and stuff gloves]
[step 4,5,6 paint gloves, cut out bats and moon and cardboard grave sign and gravestones, glue to pop sticks as shone and write on as shown][lastly put all together and into bottom as shown]
Then I worked on a prize for my groups party coming up on he 22nd...this clock turned out really nice, I still need to add a few more jewels and the title "Stitching Time" on it but I think it came out nice.. :) I have a whole bunch of these old 78s so I will for sure be making more of these....they make great presents....and they are not hard to make.....see it here
Then I made this cute spider...I twisted 2 pipe cleaners fo get the legs multi colored...used large and smaller fur balls, and google eyes...
Wow... AGAIN, these are ALL really great! I think my favorite is the clock!.. But I am definitely going to be keeping an eye open for white gloves now too! Your ghosts are so-ooo CUTE!! ~tina
