Someone once said -

"There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right and pray for the people who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living." Amen

Crochet Lady GaGa and A Scary Movie???

Now kitty wants a pair!!! LOL

I thought I would show some patterns I found while searching the net....I like these fingerless gloves because they are really different from the "norm" ones...plus the pattern is free and look at this shawl WOW!! Isn't it just to die for??

"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough."
                                                                                  -- Oprah Winfrey

Now this is a fantastic quote, but with yarn I am not sure it applies....because we all know that we never never never have enough!!!

"The woman who tells her age is either too young to have anything to lose or too old to have anything to gain." Chinese Proverb

New York magazine’s Lady Gaga cover story in March this year was a really good article. She’s a very playful with fashion and identity that I can't wait to see what next style choice she will choose. I truely like this bubble dress

more so than some of her other choices. The NY Times wrote:
"Gaga was very taken with her new “bubble dress” at this point, and we talked about its unreality, the beauty of the imaginary. Everyone wanted that dress, but it wasn’t a dress at all—it was a bunch of plastic balls. “On my tour,” she declared, “I’m going to be in my bubble dress on a piano made of bubbles, singing about love and art and the future. I should like to make one person believe in that moment, and it would be worth every salt of a No. 1 record.” She dropped the accent for a moment now—the real girl, unartificed, was right underneath—and leaned in. “I can have hit records all day, but who ------ cares?” she explained. “A year from now, I could go away, and people might say, ‘Gosh, what ever happened to that girl who never wore pants?’ But how wonderfully memorable 30 years from now, when they say, ‘Do you remember Gaga and her bubbles?’ Because, for a minute, everybody in that room will forget every sad, painful thing in their lives, and they’ll just live in my bubble world.”

She is right about that, I mean people will remember her for her excentric outfits and the "Bubble Dress" will be on the top of th elist. Great for New Years...hmmmm anyone thinking of wearing it? Would of made a terrific costume....oh well maybe next year????? Naw...I don't have the body to pull it off, yet with all those bubles, who would notice...???

Now we all know that Sex in the City star "Carrie" ihas an out of this world wardrobe, but did you ever wonder about the person that designs all her outfits might look like? Well.....

Kind of shocking huh? This corchet number just isn't flatterning for her...

And what a "Peacock" dress...???

Artist, Annie Morris created this clothespin dress for Christopher Bailey creative director of Burberry.

I wonder if they ever fall off?

This one makes me want to hold my breath....wow....

And look closely this is actually a wig???Wow think about carrying that one around...phew...

Thats all for today.... oh yeah and one more for looks....had to throw this one in for fashion strangeness, now don't get me wrong, I really love the late Michael Jackson's music, but his appearance left one a bit questioning "Why?"....a torched soul I believe...
