Ornaments of Thread and Water Bracelets

I had decided to make some ornaments for prizes for our LYC Awards/Anniversary lunch on Sunday My Water Balloons didn't make it and deflated before my ornaments dried, I was so disappointed, but after looking at them I decided I kind liked their weird shapes and I am decorating them with beads and still giving them as fun prizes Sunday...

My water bracelets I had to make a few times to get the hang of it, I found NO GLUE and NO WATER worked the best with glitter filling...

Wow It's Been Awhile!!! Let's See What Has Been Up???

Time flew by .....when I realized that I hadn't posted in awhile. So................... I am going to try and catch up...let's see on Sept 30th-Oct 3rd I went up to Big Bear with my stitching friends. :) It was a terrific weekend, warm, Oktoberfest, and we even went to the zoo. We got to visit a few different restaurants and of course visited our favorite yarn shop too!!

I had to try on hats when the Red Hats and I went to the this hat store... :)



I have been preparing for the up coming 2 Halloween Costume parties that I am hosting for my Stitching Group and the Red Hat Social Butterflies group. :) I made my costume and so I worked on that all last week. :)

 This past week I have been making Halloween decorations and jewelry. this year I made "Spider Earrings" with matching necklace, they'll be on my "PBDProducts Blog" this weekend for sale. and some candy corn filled mason jars that I crocheted around, a witch and a pumpkin. I included a tea light that looks so pretty flickering like a candle when the lights are out. I am still working on my Ghost!! They were quite easy and fun to do and will post a pattern for them on my "Crochetoholic" blog and my "Pattern blog."

I also finished my project from my "Rainbow Skein" that the gals and I did back in March. That was really fun, but I can't post that one till I enter it in the contest at our Halloween party. :)

I also got to meet one of my pen pals last weekend. She lives in N CA and was here visiting and so we got together for a late breakfast. It was great to meet her and her hubby!! :)

I've Been Busy Crocheting

This is a new cuff bracelet I made in Jelly Bean Yarn and Cotton. It is comfortable and pretty...I like cuff bracelets and with the added unique button I had found at one of the LYS it sets it off...will be available in my shop this week.... :)  Then I got wacky and added a headband to match

and now I am working on a matching ring.. :) This is a cotton crocheted necklace with a bead heart...the necklace is not done yet but I love the way it turned out. :)

This is part of my Kitty Bags and this one is called "Sweetheart Kitty" she is really cute for a little girl....also will be available and the pattern in my store this week...see the right side bar for link........

Its My Birthday Tomorrow

It's my Birthday tomorrow, yup right on Easter Sunday....hmmmmm ...I have to share my presents...hmmmm looky at what my DH got me... :)

 I have been wanting to replace those GREEN chairs with the ugly blue stripes to wicker ones for quite some time...and he went out and got me these pretty ones for my "B" day...I ama  happy camper...yes I am...and one is even a rocker...I love them... :)

 They match in color my other two and he is painting the tops of my wicker tables to match them... :)

The girls at my knitting group surprised me with this HUGE Pink egg...I couldn't imagine what it was???? Then I started to unwrap...and unwrap...and unwrap.....I swear it took me an hour....oh my....it was so much fun...they had the waitress deliver it to me...so I wouldn't know who made it up....see the end photo for all the goodies that were tucked inside... :) And to top it off once I got down through all that ribbon there was yarn wrapped around the next stage of my gifts...and not 1 skein, but 2 skeins more to unwrap...LOL....my arms got really tired...but it was my knitting friend Diane who had done it,,we all laughed and after I scolded her I gave her a BIG hug for her idea and thoughtfulness to make my "B" with my friends such a fun time!!!!

I just love my knitting friends...
